I always had in my mind that before my 30th birthday I would like to once go to Ibiza and check if all the crazy movies are true and that Ibiza is the real place to be for “Party animals”. When last summer I have seen a good promo (highest season in July) for plane tickets I didn’t doubt too much and book them immediately (price was less than 100 EUR with Ryanair from Brussels to Ibiza and with Vueling from Ibiza to Brussels).
When to go?
The season traditionally begins at the start of June at Space and finishes by end of September or first weekend in October with the Closing Parties.
A typical schedule for clubbers going to Ibiza includes waking at noon, early evening naps, late night clubbing, and “disco sunrises.”
Ibiza is a place where you can find anything you want. Most of the famous clubs offers beach hotels (which can cost more than 1000 EUR per night). Normally in the price you will have also an access to parties. If you don’t want to spend a fortune I would suggest to take a hostel in Ibiza Town for ~50-70 EUR per night. If this is still too expensive you should search a place to stay in San Antoni (much cheaper even 20-30EUR per night). And no worries San Antoni is 40 min away from Ibiza Town but you can take a “Party Bus” between those two cites. The bus will stop by the most famous clubs in Ibiza Town (Bus is available 24 H and costs 2 EUR).
Ibiza is not the cheapest place to party but definitely the best due the best DJ’s performance. You can party whole week and meet TOP DJ’s (Dimitri Vegas Like Mike, Hardwell, David Guetta, Avicii and many more). The famous DJ’s play normally on a fixed day. Before planning your trip you can find all necessary info in Internet.
I bought my ticket to Pacha in advance online (price was 30EUR). Tickets to other clubs were offered in hotels, shops etc. in Ibiza Town. There is always a little marge to negotiate the prices. My number ONE was Ushuaia Beach Club (ticket costs 30EUR). You have also many bars, dance cafe’s clubs with free entrance but more in San Antoni.
To prove that Ibiza is not only a party place you will need to wit for my next posts.
